"On a Saturday night in May, in an old New York City office loft on a side street, an unusual mix of Chelsea boys and straight bodybuilders, along with a smattering of businessmen, drag queens and female muscle groupies, are enjoying a cocktail party.

Most of the huge men, who are in town for a major competition, move freely among the gay boys. It is the rare occasion when the men, many of them "models" for muscle-worship websites, actually get a chance to press the flesh of any of their adoring consumers.

The impresario who has brought together this motley group owns the most popular and successful company devoted to muscle worship. Ulrich (he goes by his last name, although professionally he is known as "Rich O.") is a German-American who has managed to parlay his own private obsession into a franchise of DVDs and websites where gay men ogle and--for a hefty per-minute fee-- chat with the possessors of some of the world’s most super-sized physiques.

Although gay porn companies, notably Falcon and Colt, offer man-on-man action, and other sites like BlueBlake and ManifestMen show similar fare, they can’t provide the range and poundage of manflesh. At any given time, on Ulrich’s sites, you can see film clips and still photos of dozens of bodybuilders stripping, posing, getting hard and getting off.

Watching Hummer-built men performing in front of a camera solo may not be to everyone’s taste. But tens of thousands of customers like it well enough to pay $24 and up per month to visit the Web sites, as well as many more who pay $50 or more for DVDs, and some who are willing to "tip" up to $100 for a private chat with their favorites."

It's only a click away to see which NPC or IFBB bodybuilder is posing on one of the many muscle worship sites. Hell, if you go to even youtube, you'll see bodybuilder muscle posing from gay owned websites . Can't get more mainstream than that. It took years, but the barriers between male bodybuilders posing as " sexy " broke down with the internet. Many competitors freely pose all over the worldwide web for all to know & see. Ha, the gay web owners have the money to pay competitors and they're all over gay photography sites, muscle worship sites, and of all things, the web cam! Bodybuilders doing who knows what on webcam sites. Just look at who you'll see - , your buddys , famous bodybuilders, and guys who are in the muscle magazines on these sites. Not hurting their careers or placings anymore like it used to. Imagine, there's no shortage of bodybuilders ready and willing to pose for gay websites.

Times have changed, barriers have been broken down permanently, it's a mix of gays, straights, and gay for pay all over the web. Sort of like a microcosm of what goes on in life. It's big, and it's gonna get bigger.

NO! it's explicitly stated that they cannot do that in their contracts.  If you had read the article at all, the main guy it's about said he donated money to the IFBB so he could get away with it.  Lee Priest was complaining on PBW that when he went to a different federation he was breaking one rule, but all the pros were breaking numerous other rules, such as G4P.

They get into competitive bodybuilding because they want bodybuilding to be their job/income. They dont want to work. Alot of them are bisexual or just straight homosexual.  Very few bodybuilders make enough money from bodybuilding to support themselves.

All of these things combined = Muscle gallery. Gay4pay. ect ect.


I dont think its a bad thing though. The problem is not the homosexual related activity, its the fact that the monstrous supplement industry that makes so much profit and uses these bodybuilders for advertising does not pay them enough to support themselves. The problem is IFBB shows pay chump change.


You dont want gay4pay, muscle gallery, schmoes.. ? Pay the bodybuilders more for competing and more for supplement deals.

Although even that wont cure "gayness" in bodybuilding. Bodybuilding celebrates the male physique. If your a man and your into bodybuilding... well.. err... I dont want to say all bodybuilders are gay or bisexual.. but.. at least a big portion are.

sorry, but i must kindly disagree with this statement. in my opinion, most fellas usually start bodybuilding in their early to mid teens with the main reason being to attract females. and the guys who become "pros" fall into this category as well. just my 2 cents...

the fans, yes, most certainly! but as far as the actual competitors i'd say no. and these fellas that do these shall we say questionable practices, are only human, and money is very a powerful tool that's quite difficult to resist...
