I can't believe anyone would ever choose Haney over Flex. Flex wins in virtually every pose and every bodypart. They were both great bodybuilders but as for comparing the two - there's no contest.

Flex is definitely better … but as I said before flex didn’t deserve any Olympia cause of bad timing … he was very good … but in 93, 98 and 99 Dorian and Ronnie won fare and square and it couldn’t go any other way … 94 was much more controversial than the 3 years mentioned

Absolutely, the guy's structure rivals Sergio and his torso is without doubt the best ever. Wider than Dorian or Coleman with Wheeler's waist / hips. Pre-oil Wheeler is a 'lightweight' by comparison.

Haney is the GOAT.  If you take Flex/Dorian's best qualities you have Haney, except calves.  Haney had Dorian's width, thickness and size with Flexs' tiny joints.  He'd win 10-14 more O's if he kept competing.  He retired at the same age Dorian, Ronnie and Jay won their 1st O (younger than J).   
He had a better taper than Buchanan.   His waist wasn't as small but his lats were so much wider & his legs from the front gave him that X frame. creating a better ratio (illusion) than Brian

No Dorian 93 would crush any version of Lee Haney, same applies to Flex Wheeler

Dorian was 2 inches shorter and 10pounds heavier than Lee's best, he also happened to be in better condition

That's like saying Shawn/Kevin/Flex in the 90's would've crushed any version of Arnold/sergio.  In a way true, but if Arnold/Sergio was around in the 90's and in their primes, they'd be much more equipped to battle with that trio.  MAYBE would've lost but would be a very good fight. Dorian looked incredible in 93 and might have crushed Haney assuming he didn't improved with the "technology" available in 93 like Dorian did.  They were basically the same age, based on what Dorian and Ronnie did later in their careers.  Haney retired before his prime or right as he was entering it.  I also don't think it was close in 91 between Haney and Darian. I think Haney won easily, but that's a different story lol

I don't think Haney reached his full potential he retired very young , who knows what he could have done.

and look how the two years changed in terms of physique especially from Haney to Yates and again Haney retired young I would still say there was room for improvements

I don't think he would improve coz when he retired he had no more motivation to go wth.. He didn't expect any one to repeat his record.. Only if he was still hungry he would continue and would improve to go with Dorian and the others but he was not..

I agree about the motivation , he had nothing prove. however physically I don't think we've seen the best Lee Haney there could be either way.

mmm but put in mind that Lee Haney was known for his hard training so how come he couldn't improve "dramatically" from 84 to 91 then to expect him to improve suddenly in 1 or 2 years.. May be only if he never used the best diet for his body..

Drugs GH & Insulin I think he would have gown by leaps & bounds , better or for worse and he trained pretty hard not insane like Yates or Ronnie but he was pretty strong

May be.. But for me Lee Haney must have been training better than Dorian.. Coz Dorian's "insane" training intensity cost him a lot.. He torn his left bi in 94 then his left tri in 97 and was forced to retire early.. So he must have been doing somethng above his limits.. If Lee Haney was training like this he too may have torn smthng and retired early b4 taking all the 8 sandows.. One of Lee's good things was his ability to stay away from injuries throughout his career..
