What Causes the big Guts?

What drugs etc. lead to getting huge extended gut like so many bodybuilders have? and how do some pros manage to avoid getting this side effect?

you queens make me laugh, you want these guys to be as big as humanly possible but the expect them to have 29 inch waists. ::)
