I think that was from his first Olympia appearance. He placed really low, if I recall correctly. I would take that physique over his Mr. O one any day.

Jay 2001 Olympia would have no doubt won this Olympia, 2004 and been close in 2005. Why oh why he 'refridgerated' his physique I don't know.

I think he just got to heavy. Weight has to go somewhere. If you're maxed out muscle wise it's going to go to other places.

Agreed. He looks pretty good here too in my opinion, even though he is quite a bit more bulky. The symmetry is fairly good.

Jay is a prime example of a guy with all the tools, screwing up his body. Back in 01 he looked sick, and he went and f'ed it up playing the size game with Ronnie. Jay should have stepped on stage at no more than 240, and worked on getting super ripped.

pretty good? the guy looks insane, he is an amazing bb and had more mass than anyone on the OLympia stage...Its a bodbuilding contest not a figure competition...

When does everyone think this revolt of the mass monsters started?...It had to be sometime between last Sep and now....Do you guys think GetBig and all the complaing about guts and the endless praising of golden age bb's had any influence on the fans and judges?  Is getbig responsible for Jays loss?
