David di weigh about 275 around 93'  They came over to Hawaii and we promoted Twin Sitters.  It was a blast.  The twins drew HUGE attention wherever we went.  Traffic literally stopped and the people would get out and take their picture.  Anyone who see them now just ask them if I was strong (for the doubters).  They always told me that I was the only person they trained with that could keep up with them.  They were strong as hell.  We got kicked out of a gym on Maui because we were too loud.  The guy in the pic with David squatting is Mike Sapp who owned the best gym in Hawaii called The Gym.  It was an awesome place.  They have been friends for a long time.  David and Peter used to come to the club I bounced at back in the early 80's called Tequilla Willies.  One of their best friends Bob Sear who worked with me introduced me to them.  They could eat and eat and eat.  We went to a buffett in Hilo, Hawaii and it was so funny cause they would go grab whole plates of food and bring it back to the table.  Whole pitchers of milk and orange juice.  We went to Jack In the Box one night on the way back to the hotel and they told me I need to try a Double Fudge Cake.  So we went up to the drive in window and David order 6 of them.  He starts to pull away and Peter screams how about me and Keith.  So he then order 12 more.

One time on Maui we were in the hotel.  I brought this girl back with me.  They were staying in the room next to mine.  The whole night they were banging on the wall and yelling at us. It was nuts.  Then the next morning after the girl left to go to work, they wanted to know if I wanted a protein shake.  I got up and went to their room and Peter was making it out on the lanai.  He had a blender and was pouring diet orange soda, cans of tuna and eggs into the blender.  I said no way!  He then blends it and drinks the whole thing while holding his nose.  It smelled so bad. 

But we had alot of fun back then.  They were so marketable but just so hard to work with.  The are really good guys and very smart both of them.  Just a little out there now.  They really wanted to see if they could do things on their own without having to have the other part of it.  They both have unreal homes but Davids I like better.  It was on the cover of Architectural Digest one year.

David gave me this shirt I wore.  I wore it when I hike down to Kalaupapa.  That was one of the nurses hiking up to town

We I didn't train with them unless they were in Hawaii which was back in the early 90's.  I never trained at the old Gold's Gym.  I trained at the original World Gym so I didn't even know them.  I met them in the early 80's through Bob S.  The other bouncers I worked with there was Ron Gibson who had unreal vascularity and Jim Flaraty who was a really good trainer and nutritionist.  All I do know back then they were huge to me.  In the early 80's I weighed 247.  I didn't break the 300 lb barrier till after training with Ray Mentzer starting around 85' or 86'  So to me the twins were just unreal.  They had so much fun back then.  Does anyone know the story when the twins drove of the side of the 405 and had there jeep end up in a bunch of iceplant.  They got out and pushed the Jeep up the hill through the iceplant back onto the freeway.  did anyone see them on People Court.  That was hilarious!  They would come into the club each with a half gallon of ice cream and eat it while walking around the club.  Then they would each have a Manhattan Maggie (our 32 oz. Margarita) in each hand and drink them going around the club.  They were funny as hell

BTW he's hardly "skinny" in the most recent picture of him, he's smaller than he was back in the 80's but still looks like he carries a damn good amount of muscle, you have to remember that he was probably around 275 or so at 5'9" in pretty good condition before.
