anyone have good results with it? bad? looking to gain a little strength.

Yeah, its good.

I have experimented with training methods where I was getting 5kgs increases on lifts at different rep ranges per week. It was the most gruelling training I have experienced ever and got 3 little injuries(not lower back) towards the end and got burnt out. Now I know when to cease this form of training and enter a maintenance phase then I will continue with the previous training method.
I basically came up with it from looking at the journals and personal experience.

I am still in testing phase, but it really works - as above mentioned... be sure to take off your foot from the pedal if the body needs rest.
