Senator Obama knows the issue backwards and forwards.

Incorrect, and his comments showing such are public for all to see. He didn't teach 2A Const. Law, and is no more or less able to view things as his personal agenda dictates than any other worthless anti gun sack of crap.

Again, supporting DC ban = he didn't bother to check the facts and or does not care about the facts.

He doesn`t do what he likes.  I can`t name one thing Bush has done that is not within the legal bounds of the Constitution.

I am no fan of Bush, but he has followed the Constitution.

no he hasn't - he has simply went around it.

as mars said the patriot act was very unconstitutional.

Senator Obama knows the issue backwards and forwards.  He taught Constitutional Law for 12 years as professor at the University of Chicago.

Just shut up already, please.

Obama has no respect for the 2A. Lots of guns are being sold only because people are afraid of him getting into office. A lot more will be sold if he does.

As usual, people in this thread and others listen to what Obama (or any politician for that matter) is saying vs actually looking at their voting records and prior history. All of Obama's record and prior history shows when it comes to 2A issues and guns, he does not have a clue what the 2A actually stands for and is simply anti gun.  Here are the facts with citations for anyone to look up:

FACT: Barack Obama wants to re-impose the failed and discredited Clinton Gun Ban.15

FACT: Barack Obama opposes Right to Carry laws.7

FACT: Barack Obama was a member of the Board of Directors of the Joyce Foundation, the leading source of funds for anti-gun organizations and “research.”8

FACT: Barack Obama supported a proposal to ban gun stores within 5 miles of a school or park, which would eliminate almost every gun store in America.9

FACT: Barack Obama voted not to notify gun owners when the state of Illinois did records searches on them.10
