law is for people who are ok with putting precedent and protocol ahead of common sense, judgement and morals.

if you are ok with that, then go for it.

personally i would step on a drowning lawyer to save a politician.

Everyone hates lawyers until you need one.

BTW - mozst predecent is set by common sense if you take time to read the common law.

Dont look at the most bizarre cases as being the norm, its not.  most of those cases are just for entertainment.  Most law is very boring and mundane.

I pretty much hate most of the people I study with, due to  lack of morals. Hope that helps.

yeah- you know it does help.

i hope you can find a job that allows you to think for yourself and perhaps allows you to lose the cases you should lose..if you know what i mean.

one thing about lawyers that really annoys me is the win at all costs approach.

everybody deserves a fair hearing and representation, but lawyers who try all the tricks to get someone off who shouldnt- be ruin the the profession.

dont get me started on judges.

The problem is, as soon as something goes to court (no agreement between the two parties), the end result is pretty much arbitrary.

I know a few judges and I can only pray I never end up in court.

I'm finishing up my B.A. in Accounting, and will need to get a masters too to sit for the CPA exam. Can't take it without 150 credit hours.

I wanna do the Masters at NYU, but I dunno if I'll be able to put up a 690 GMAT score though.  :-X

I'm thinking of starting law school, I seem to be doing well on the LSAT practice exams and I have the grades to get into most average law schools, except I'm concerned about passing the bar exam after.  Is it difficult?  I would think that law school is structured such that if you're smart enough to make it through your degree then you should be able to tackle the bar exam.  Any thoughts?  And if you finish a law degree and can't pass your bar exam is your law degree practically useless?

Also, is being a lawyer an appropriate career for a bodybuilder?  Any pro bodybuilders who have a law background?

This sounds like a marvelous idea.

Bodybuilding and Legal 'crossover' terms such as ''approaching the bench'' and ''passing the bar'' can be potentially disorienting to the prospective bodybuilder/barrister.  :P
