I think that with shit like this, what's the point? Like the videos of platz doing about 20 1/4 reps at the end of a set like he's 'burning out', you can bet his muscles don't care but his joints do, treating ligaments like elastic bands can't be good. Ronnie doesn't do this shit, he just stops when the muscle can't do a full rep anymore. It's no longer contracting after a point.

I think Mentzer(s) was doing negatives there, spotters get the weight down, he resists it up. Worked for Yates.
