Here's a rumor for you.

Back in the early 90's I believe, Phillips wrote a bi monthly rag mag. In one of the mags he had an article about this new anti catabolic drug the was better than steroids. Not only did it shed body fat, but it built muscle in a whole new way, it was called clenbuterol. At the same time coincidently the market was flooded with a counterfeit, but real version of clen under a label called Goldstar. A good bber friend of Philips (true) was pushing this stuff hard and retail was $100 per 100 tabs. Phillips was really touting this stuff as the latest and greatest new muscle building drug, but according to him he didn't know where to get it and if you asked him (I did) he would tell you that it was illegal and he had no idea where you could get it anyway.

Rumor was that "someone" had purchased enough raw material to make close to 1 MILLION bottles. So this someone had someone else sell the stuff while the other someone marketed it, smart guy.

Not long after the Goldstar clen came on to the market a guy I knew was selling another brand under a label that escapes me for now. Anyway he called me up one day and read me a letter the he had got from Bill Phillips and it basically said that the clen that he was selling was illegal and if he didn't stop selling it he would report him to the proper authorities.
