I feel like I"m repeating myself, but every reson you gyuys claim we should fear an Obama presidency manifested itself during the Bush presidency. He wa more of a socialist than either of the democratic presidents that preceded him in the last 30 years. He used the 9/11 attacks to brainwash the public with ideas of patriotism for the sole purpose of furthering his own agenda. He used jingoism and war propaganda to attempt to establish a defacto dictatorship. He was completely incompetent and he nearly wrecked the country.
Literally , every single nightmare that you guys claim is coming under the Obama administration has already come to pass under the Bush regime.

Unfortunately it goes to the heart of rightwing populism. Rightwingers live in a fantasy world created by their elitest leaders. Every evil perpetrated by the right is projected on to their enemies in spades.
It wasn't that Bush shit on the constitution, started a war of aggression, spent the people's money with no limit...it's same exact things that Obama will do once he becomes president.
In fact, the archetypal right winger--Hitler--is really Obama's leftwing role model.
This is why it is so difficult to debate a rightwinger. They are so out of touch with their own reality, thought processes and general historical knowledge that words and concepts mean what they want them to mean. Propaganda works. Mission accomplished!
