I tried them a couple of times.  Didn't like them at all.

Excellent exercise, one of the best for bis. Another example of the effectiveness of partials, something like cheat curls in terms of the effective range of stress on the muscle.

if u had to pick...drag curl or seated barbell curl-what would u pick?!

Both great, but in different ways so it might make sense to do both sometimes, they affect the bis differently. The seated curls would be one of the best for size but drag curls are intense too hitting different areas than seated curls.

cheat curls actually work wonders...i added more size to my bis doing extra heavy half-range bbell curls (rocking my body like a fukin idiot) than from concentrated full range strict form curls

i'd suggest combining cheat curls w/ strict form dumbell or machine curls - then you pack size and work through the whole muscle

Cheats and seated curls are very similar in the effective porition of ROM used, are both arguably the best for hitting the biceps.

Good stuff, more weight = more damage to muscle fibers, even if it is a limited range of motion.  Even if you only hit half the muscle, you're hitting it with more weight, so what does grow grows bigger than it would with full range curls.
