First, illegals violated the our law.  Now, if it is shown that illegals are a drain on the economy (even a relatively small drain) and they cause disproportional #s of crime, thats 3 strikes man!  I don't understand why many people just disregard these facts and dismiss the issue all together.  Its gotta be about money somewhere.  The national media definitely avoids stories on illegals commiting crimes that we hear from the local boarder governments.  Its scary actually.

Again, I am all for a fast track to citizenship with penalty for illegals without a criminal history.  Is it fair?  No, but there are too many to deport and a part of me wants to give them an opportunity.  All for productive immigrants coming to this country and speeding up to process to citizenship, but if we let everyone in, ignore our laws, our nation will continue to slip and continue to change, now from within.

We dont have laizee faire system.  There are hundreds of thousands of pages of regulations called the Federal Register and CFR.
