Ronnie was very strong, I'll give him that. Strength isn't everything in bodybuilding. Powerlifting yes, but we are talking about bodybuilding.
Ronnie had no calves, very unsymmetrical even in the beginning before his muscle tears. His waist was too big, and he never really was ripped to shreds. Ronnie won his Olympias because of his size, and because Gutler wasn't close enough to beat him at those times.
Dorian on the other hand did not have any of Ronnie's flaws, also had size, and was ripped to shreds. Even at his worse Olympia showing he still was able to win, not because he was the best but because 2nd place wasn't good enough to beat him. That speaks volumes. It would devastate me knowing that a guy beat me having a torn tricep and he was still better then me.
Dorian might not have been quite as strong as Ronnie, but NO ONE had the intensity as Dorian did.
That is what bodybuilding is about.
