I have probably the weirdest calves known to science...
Heel to toe, my little ballerina feet only measure 9 inches (no penis jokes please). But my lower leg bone structure is so robust and chunky that my ankle measurement is 9.75''... at 5'5'' tall I have the bone structure of a heavy set man about 7' tall.
My soleus muscle extends all the way to my ankle (only about four inches of Achilles tendon), and my gastocnemius stretches fully two thirds the way down my shin. I have Dorian Yates calves.
But boy, does this cruel genetic inheritance pay off when it comes to calves... haven't trained them in years, yet they measure 17.5'' cold. Any work whatsoever, just a set or two, and they blow up to 18''.
Two or three consecutive calf workouts over two or three weeks, and I'm sporting 18.75'' calves that rub together when I walk.
