Nasser knew what he needed to do to win the title. His back was a glaring weakness that the champ, all recent Olympia champs, have not had. He did not make needed improvements and never did win the title as a result, end of story.
If Nasser had truly believed his physique to be Olympia champion caliber, why the need to, at any point, resort to shooting his delts and arms? Such a tactic is indicative of insecurity. Even after Yates tore his left bicep, he didn't resort to such a thing. Such a tactic might have seemed more logical in the event Greg Valentino were Mr. Olympia for a time, but in the real world, I fail to see the logic in Nasser having gone such a route. And I'm tired of Nasser's stupid denials about Synthol. He's an allegedly educated man, so he should know better than to protest the criticisms in this area. It matters not what the actual substance used was, he put "something" in there, that is obvious. And even if we were all that naive to believe that the appearance that his delts ultimately took on was not resultant from a foreign substance, they still stood out like a sore thumb, which would necessitate him being marked down no matter what.
