When ever someone puts a 'smith machine" as an exercise in any routein for strength they are either 1. a gimmick 2. They have no clue on how to train. 95% of machines have no business being apart of strength training.
smith machine is used for short reps when you are lifting veteran weights, one bad step and you could die. Learn first.
