As angry as I was after 9/11 seeing my city get bombed, I didnt want Afganistan children to die. Can't imagine anyone thinking there is a big enough cause to kill, mame and psychologically destroy children.

almost 500 are killed more than 100 are kids - 2200 are injured. So its ok israeli's kill as much as they want no one can question them.

That is exactly why civilizations always fall. Once they get powerful the put self imposed moral restrictions on themselves that let uncivilized nations catch up. While we have restrictions on just about everything that has to do with harming the environment the chinese are rolling out cars and getting rich like a guy. However once they become demoninant they will start the self imposing on themselves as well.

How is it self defense when they unilaterally broke off the peace talks (Sharon did,) submitted Gaza into one of the most brutal blockades in recent years and pushed the radicals into a corner they had no way of getting out of except by atacking back?

The lifestyle we live today = upgraded because of WW2.

Also, many people that died in WW2 (NOT the jews, they are great) were the price for this development. Today these people would fit the criteria of "sunk cost". They were the development cost of the great life we can live today because of it.
