Highbar Squats

Squated Highbar Friday (box squats for 5s) and Yesterday (belt and wrap 4s). My upper back is hamburger. Anyone else squat highbar? It sucks...

Yes. Powerlifter use a lower placement on their back so they can bend forward and get better leverage and use different/more muscle than doing highbar squats.


My shoulders get pretty red from the yolks on the Hack Squats, in addition to squat bars too.

ok, yeah my traps get a bit red and raw, but nothing too bad.

The worst for me is my shoulders. Get it big time from standing calf raises....
