You sound like the moderate repubs in congress.  Get a backbone.  Stand up for something you spinless jelly fish.

And criminals keep stealing, murdering, and raping.  So why don't we just stop making them crimes.  Just because you can't stop something doesn't mean you condone it.
Yes I know it sounds ancient, but you must tell a child that something is wrong, that they shouldn't do it.

What % of Americans has that view??  They're called conservatives.

Fair enough, but why then did Bill O'Rielly say that Jamie Lynn Spears' parents were the reason she got knocked up and say they were terrible parents, yet when Palin's daughter gets knocked up, it's a private matter and they should be left alone about it?

Why the double standard?

what % of americans wait until they get married to have sex?
what % are against abortion in all forms?

Look, i'm all for killing welfare for most, doubling prison sentences, and cutting a lot of scrubs getting social security for a heart attack 15 years ago while they're working under the table now.  Fuccck them.

But making the base of the entire party "Stop having sex" isn't going to work.  It didn't work in palin's own family.  It's not going to work nationwide.  And if it did, we'd just have 50 million pissed off, sexually frustrated young people.  that's what the middle east has.  You give them some porn and let them fvck, and jihad matters a lot less :)

I can't speak for Bill.

There is a double standard.  That's the way this country rolls.

Why is Spears' pregnancy celebrated in the media and Palin's pregnancy demonized?

I don't agree with these comments by some of these morally challenged liberals.

I'm of the belief that when republicans or conservatives makes an assumption that she is the future of the GOP, they are not clarifying themselves properly.
What I think they are subconsciously saying is that her value system is what the future of the GOP should be.  Not neccesarily her alone.

When McCain picked her it lit a fire in the strong conservative base and it’s scaring the hell of the dem’s and lib’s.  To prove that point just look at the names she’s been called just in this thread alone!
Far be it for me to defend anyone who may actually believe she is the future.  This is just my opinion.

Good points.  She does represent the views and background of a substantial number of Americans.  I don't think most Americans identify with the leftwing of the Democrat party.

The woman just has liberals in a tizzy.  She must be doing something right.

Simple, because Spears and her family don't run around saying abstinence and no sex before marriage where Palin does.

If you're going to demonize something yourself, then you have to be prepared to be demonized when you do it.

There is nothing worse than a hypocrite.

I don't think her values are as universal as you believe... I'd say most people in the US are pretty socially liberal and fiscally conservative.

18% of repubs who voted bush in 04, stayed home in 08.

Bush's appeal was almost 25% greater than Palins.  Not the direction to go in.

yes, there are a lot of americans who believe in abstinence, and her other beliefs.  But the majority do not.

Look, it's not about what kids are going to do.  Kids are kids.
It's raising them to know right from wrong and not telling them it's OK if get pregnant, do drugs and alcohol or rob and steal.
By society having passive views like yours it is condoning those actions.
No, of course you can't physically stop kids from doing anything.

It's about giving them morals and standards.

Abortion is murder, that's why it should be stopped.  But that's another topic.

hahaha seriously, i can understand if someone supported palin simply because they didn't like obama.  fair enough.

But to stand up and say "she's a smart person i want running my country"... or "She's the most qualified repub in 2012"

You don't see many intelligent people that would say that.

The intelligent people are not in the majority... thats the scary part

I'd say that's not accurate.  I didn't call her values universal.

I think if you talk to most Americans they would actually agree with conservative values regarding family, taxes, the economy, abortion, homosexual marriage, the role of government, etc.  Overall, liberal ideology is a minority viewpoint IMO.  But we will have a leftwinger in the White House.

Oh please.  You are such a shill sometimes.  Edwards had less qualifications than Palin and the media never called him on it because he was pro-choice and looked like a little metrosexual bitch.

I agree on Newt Gingrich, very intelligent man.
The Clinton/Gingrich and republican controlled congress was the best time I remember.

It seems the democrats are moving farther to the left though...maybe its just in responce to Bush.  I think there are a lot of moderates in this country but they are not being represented adequately, particularly by the new crop of democrats.  We need more blue dog democrats and republicans who will adhere to true fiscally conservative principles.

You're correct... It's all squeaky wheel syndrome BS.

The bitchers and whiners on both sides are taking the power from the majority who are really pretty middle of the road.

True conservative, I will add disslike, McCain.

240 tries to paint conservs and repubs with the same brush.

You're right, Palin did not lose.  McCain lost.  You certainly won't see him much in news anymore.

Palin is only in her 40's and just gettin' started.  Look out moonbats.  Better come up with some more catchy insults!  She's gonna be around awhile.

I still fail to see what the heck is the problem, the election is over.

I personally liked Palin and think she can be a force in the future, but she has to become better informed on a lot of issues before she can even think about being POTUS.

What I dont understand is the hyperventilating that goes on about every word she says.

For the record, McCain sucks and is going to usher in amnesty with Obama.
