I think that George Gray was an overlooked worker.

I liked the Twin Towers. Bossman was so athletic and got even better once he dropped some weight.

Yeah.
Kurt turned out INCREDIBLE! I really had doubts as to how well he would transition; not many "real" fighters do.
And, if you can look past the whole double-murder/suicide thing, Benoit was one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boots.

These guys had some phenomenally classic matches.
Some observers prefer their Royal Rumble match to this one, but this remains my favorite - especially the beginning.

Kevin Nash/Diesel wins the WWF Heavyweight Title from Bob Backlund in an eight-second non-televised match:

While you can't really see it in this fan-shot footage, Backlund performed the ultimate display of class in putting over the new champ: after taking Nash's power-bomb, Backlund sold the move by literally crawling back to the dressing room. In interviews years later, Nash would fondly recall Bob's performance that night, expressing his gratitude for what Bob did for him.

I wonder how much Nash appreciated it at the time.

Dammit - they took down the Candido/Storm match I linked.
Well, until I can find another copy, here's another gem with Lance:

This one, or the Storm/Candido match at the top of the page?
I hope you got to see the latter before Youtube removed it.

I'll scan Dailymotion.com to see if it's there.
I swear that "stinger81" has posted every third match taken place since 1988. (lol)

What stands out to me in this match is how these two teams actually look like teams, i.e. they look like they've extensively trained and worked together (because they have).
My point is, they function as a well-oiled unit as opposed to two random guys being paired up because "creative" doesn't know what else to do with them.

As was the norm for that time, the Cruiserweights had some of the best matches in WCW.
I forget the name of the package/roll-up Ultimo uses at the end, but it's a pretty little move to watch, and he executes it with great timing:

Being that Steamer suffered his career-ending back injury not long after this match took place, this may be the last encounter between he and Flair:

Okay, "matches" of the day - two excellent ones, in fact, between two of my favorite workers from two very different parts of the timeline:

from the Japan WAR tour of 1995:

from the WWE-produced ECW One Night Stand of 2005:
