im finding fatloss slows down when i sleep 8-9 but is much faster at 5-7 hours

with less sleep i can actually get away with more food and look dryer, i just dont feel the greatest, and am tempted to catch up on rest when i get little only to realise when i do catch up on the rest i seem to flatten out a bit and soft like a wet conte

ive never really stuck to sleeping very little and adjusting myself to that just to see what it does for my physique, my hypothesis is i would feel a bit shitty but look ripped, like a trade off like anything else

i would love to hear stories from my falconites on this matter

8-9 hrs. of sleep is overrated and too much, people would do way better on 5-6, i sleep MAYBE 6 hours if i'm lucky.

I sleep, and I get up when I feel rested, usually between 8-8.5 hours.

I get under 8hrs and I start accumulating sleep debt. Over 9 and I just can't get going. It works for me.

I used to work 6am-2pm.

I went to sleep at midnight-1am...then up at 5 am.

Max 4-5 hours per night...... NO napping. Did this for 4 months.

I also feel better on less sleep, more energy etc.

If i sleep for 9 hours, i get up, then want to nap a couple of hours later.

I wish I could function on that little sleep, anything less than like 9 hours and I feel like a zombie and its difficult to function, I feel uncoordinated and extremely irritable.  I don't know why exactly, I have just always been that way.

Depends how hard I work & workout, how I'm eating, stress levels, etc.  4 or 5 hours is never enough tho.  I can get by on 6 or zonk for 12.

When I try really hard I shoot for 8 hours and settle with an average of 7. On the shitty low end, I get 5-6 hours. But it takes a couple of days before I acquire a sleep deficit and actually start getting headaches and losing tons of strength.

I think a healthy 6-7 hours of sleep should do most people good, all things considered. Laying in bed trying to fall asleep and hitting the snooze button and wasting 2 hours in bed is not productive. Get to bed, get your ZZZ's on and get the fuck out of bed. You'll feel like a million bucks. Might sound insignificant but it's pretty outstanding. I just used to lay in bed all night, sleep for about an hour and then hit the snooze button for a couple hours. :-X

as a pure ecto myself i need at least 8/9 hours especially if i work out 1 hour a day 6/7 days a week (to failure).

10/11 and im completely refreshed.

i sleep only 6/7 hours a night but on holidays i can sleep 8 to 11 hours and not only my muscles grow  faster, makes me feel like im someone else.

sleeping 6/7 hours a night due to work means slowed down processus to put on quality mass, but means that i also eat less and have less bodyfat. On holidays i also eat more, but usually its in summer so i can play basketball outdoor as cardio.

well the key for MASS is GRAVITY thus when you sleep less and are STANDING you experience more gravity or are spending more time in a GRAVITY STRESSED environment. when sleeping your shut down and wasting away

for me when im training alot and eating alot ill feel wired and stay up and get 7-8 hours ..ill keep this up for about 3 days and by this time im looking good and leaner but then i crash hard for like 11 hours then look flat and soft :(

you always surprise me with more and stupider statements everytime you post.

Why do you always question yourself about the way you lift, eat, sleep?  It'S borderline obsession.

I lift since 10 years, am a shorter version of you with very similar build ,muscle shape and mass yet i dont feel like i need to question the way i train that much anymore (ironically i made most gains that way), the only thing you need to know even after years of training is that you have to keep consistant to make progresses, considering you cannot change the way your body put on muscles anyways with a different nutrition o exercises: it's all about genetics and being content with what you obtain being consistant.

Be consistant sticking to the basics and if you cannot be satisfied with your results it means you have some other mental issue or something. What is the point of being constantly unsatisfied with your physique?

what is getting better "goudy" ? Why would i need the others "help" to "get better"?

Since when do other people but your loved ones (parents or girl , when it's really the case) want to help you "get better" ?

It looks like you still think you need other people "advices" to get "better". Quite immature and utopian again, for someone your age.

It looks like you obviously rely on what the others think about you to define your own hapiness.

Until recently I could get by on 5-6 hours just fine. Now that my training is getting longer and harder I will sometimes wake up after 10 hours if I dont set the alarm clock. I can get up after 6-7 hrs just fine but I will be a lot more sore than if I just slept another 1-2 hrs.
