I would chose the goodlooking, that gives extra testosterone during WO. What do all the names on her CV mean when you wonder how she got so fat despite being a PT all workout long?? I mean, you should at least look like you have tried some stuff in reality and not just read all the books. For some "one more rep, don't let it go now", i rather have some hot dumb bitch than a fat one.

Your right when it comes to the T boost a nice chick can couse. As a formal trainer myself I once had a colleague who's calves were smaller than my forearms (and no, my forearm aren't brutal), but he knew how to train and motivate clients and was very popular.

Look at charles glass. He was a champ in the 8ties but shrinked a lot after that. He still trains a lot of pro's these days.

Dude, are you comparing fat little sandra to Charles Glass?? I don't think she was a champ in the eighties. Nevertheless, it's ridiculous if a trainer is FAT, if he teaches running, he can be thin as a stick. However, if you want to learn bodybuilding from someone, he should look like he has touched a weight in his life.

But a trainer looking like a barrel??

All the fitness trainer should have a decent fitness text book body. Its a obligation. If we have national licence and the inspectators exist,its good idea that those inspectator do inspectation of those physics of those licenced fitness trainer in every three month. If some of them are out of shape without any special reason like sick or injured, the licence can be suspended.

I think you put too much attention to the appearance thing. Of cource a well build trainer shows a good example, but a trainer needs much more qualities. During my certification I met several goodlooking peeps, but a lot of them were quite insecure, had a lack of basic knowledge and so on.
