I could clean that once and then shit myself trying to budge it from my shoulders. ;D

This dude is unstoppable it seems. I think that Brian Shaw will give him a run for his money next year though.

epic rounding of his back.  Strict form I'd say he could get 3/4 of that weight. Not impressed.

Interesting little bit I just heard about Derek. He lets AMs train with his crew, if they are serious of course, but charges $10 a day to do so.

No pro I have ever trained with has ever asked for a thing from anyone, other than for them to train hard. I bring drinks, chalk, tacky, whatever, but a FEE?

Just reminds me of Ferrigno charging kids for autographs. Stupid.

I think I read that he charges this as an "equipment investment" or something like that? He does have a lot of shit. If he's just charging to charge, that blows.

As far as I heard it is for each day you go. Now if he supplies tacky and chalk and shit then maybe thats cool. $10 just to train with the guy, eff that. Equipment doesnt break often either, unless its cheaply made or abused by idiots. If someone breaks something, they pay for it. No need to charge admission.

Thats Bogus as hell!!!! I really hope that he does not do that. I could never ever imagine trying to charge someone for any kind of help. I never paid for any of the knowledge that I have of the sport I'm in cant understand how someone could do that.

I could understand charging a monthly gym fee to cover equipment issues but $10 each time a amatuer trains with him is ridiculous.

Very Ferignoish if you ask me!!!

totally agree. in fact in powerlifting and strongman ive found that most all competitors to be just the opposite and want to train and teach as many as possible, because it helps make them better

hahahaha, i wonder what the skinny nerd in the squat rack with 3 plates on each side thinks when he sees Derek shoulder pressing 70 more pounds than he's "squatting". ;D

hahahahaa, Branch is halfway standing on the seated bench and only presses the weight halfway up, don't believe me watch the video again, Derek pushes FULL REPS on those.
