time travel is actually possible. there is no rule in physics that outlaws time travel. it happens everyday, although very minute.

well yeah i agree....i never said it wasn't...

just find yourself a worm hole and go thru it before it collapses...

orrrr

travel suffeciently close to the speed to light

orrrr

find to gravity waves moving towards eachother and loop de loop em

orrrr

fall into a black hole without an event horizon and pop back out...(which in itself is actually impossible so i digress)

You are right and wrong.  Forward travel through time isn't outlawed.  Backwards time travel introduces breaks at least one rule and introduces hard to reconcile issues with causality.

actually backward time travel is possible and you can get around the grandfather paradox...according to (string) brane theory if you travel back in time and kill your grandfather at that split instant you actually create another universe...

now you have 2 universes..one without u and your grandfather and one with...

all possibilities are possible

"how can i add more sweep to my quads?"
"how do i get a split on my biceps like ronnie coleman?"

see how stupid those sound?
i'd rather talk about paint drying than stupid trivial bodybuilding bullshit.

i thought every black hole has an event horizon? in any regards if there is something "impossible" it is returning from falling through a black hole.

i'm still reading dr. kaku's 'physics of the impossible' and one thing stuck to me... it's not that no one can travel through time, it's if you could come back to brag about it.

you familiar with the book?

I'm not necessarily talking about humans or complex matter traveling through time. That might happen in the distant future but backward time travel happens everyday.

What about the GPS satellites that need their clocks slowed down so they would correlate to the clocks on earth? Time is relative, so in that sense, it can go forward or backward.

You're mistaken.  Time does not travel backward for any observer.  Time travels slower, not backwards, for GPS satellites because of relativistic effects of their speed.

Well, i guess my wording isn't correct. If the satellite happened to be an astronaut, once he lands back on earth, he has officially traveled in time. His 'time' will be ahead of Earth's, so in essence he has traveled back in time.

Ah lub Jebus!

When you make statements such as this, what is your intent?  Do you think we're silly people because we love Jesus?  Is it a feeble attempt at humor?  Whatever your reasons, why not just give it a rest?

I'll be the first to admit that a bodybuilding site is not the best choice for a Spiritual discussion, and/or enlightenment.  However, it just seems childish to to make comments that adds no value to the discussion.

Well considering the fact that I do not believe a 'Jesus' ever existed it was an ironic statement. People love all sorts of imaginary things though.
