thanks AVBG, I don't agree but it's pretty nice of you to say  :)

You don't have to believe me- I'm not saying it to be polite, I could care less about being polite....  8)

at local level, a light-heavy is about 5'7-5'8 193-198 lbs  :-\

heavy: 5'9 to 5'11, the 5'11 will need a crazy structure
so a guy our height needs to be 225 ripped to the bone.. hmm...

Most guys will lose around 10-12lbs the first wk they use this diet, then it will level off...so yes, it is common...but it's almost completely water weight.

Remember, you're eating an extremely low carb diet. Carbs carry with them, (if I remember correctly, someone correct me if I'm off with this number) 2.3g of water per gram of carb...obviously not having the larger amount of carbs in your body is going to have a dramatic effect on your weight very quickly.

as arnold said, the intial weight loss is alot of water loss. but also alot of fat loss too.. the intial stages of a low carb diet, after having been on a high carb diet,  are extremely lipolytic.

man its like he is reading word for word from a clinical study the shit he says is crazy do you realy know what any of those words realy mean cause if you live your day doing exactly what the guides you are resiteing says then iam positive you aint got shit on you.... some of your diet sugestions are rediculous unless you are a top notch BBer that needs 8000 calories a day and from what everyone says about you, you dont need 8000 a day you are all juice no mass

shrek the conclusion of my argument is strongly suported by several undeniably true premises in the style of deduction...thus the conclusion, in a world where initial periods of low glucose ingestion coupled with controled caloric intake are followed by a period of high glucose intake coupled with high caloric intake,  is unequivocally righteous.

hahahahaha

lipolytic...break it down dude... lipo - lytic....  ;)

thats exactly what iam stressing your encyclopidia bullshit " conclusion" come on quit reading HOW TO stuff and use real world examples anyone can read the pages of a mag or google exactly what you are saying its as if you feel the urge to comment on everything so you will look like you are knowledgable but in fact all you are doing is copying what a study has shown...... and yes i know what lipo...lytic is

I'm 5'9"-5'10" and did light heavy last year at a big showin SF weighing in at 184, looked more like an under armour model than a freazy bodybuilder. Ended up taking 9th place. Light heavy is the most competitive class IMO be prepared for a battle!!

What do the light heavies go up to for you?  Here the light heavies are 187-198 so you would have been a middle weight.  I agree, the light heavies are always very competitive.

Maybe I missed it but how come you're back to local shows?  I thought you were only doing provincial level and maybe moving onto nationals??
If Quebec is the same as here you have Novice, Provincial and then National level right?
