you know the truth, nasser and wheeler and to a degree leverone all had some subpar or off there best looks,or stayed too long in the game, but never, ever did shawn ray come off in anything less than top or best form why is that?

he competed only at the olympia, it's a lot easier to peak when you only do one show

as for nasser, he had 4 great years but a career is measured over many years

he was one of the best of the 90's but not a hall of famer

Nasser looking massive there!

The "delts" issue has already been discussed many times.  It was not synthol in there, but accumulated scar tissue - this was also confirmed by the expert Dante right here in the G&O board a while back.

And relentless like I said Nasser's legacy is untouched by his last few shows.  Once you achieve legendary status you can do anything and place any which way and you are still a legend.  For example, Samir Bannout trying to make a comeback and not placing well did not take away from his legendary status.  If Ronnie  Coleman continues to compete for years and falls out of the top 10 or even if he starts to look worse than Kovacs he is still 8 time  Mr. Olympia and nothing can take away from that.

another example is gaspari who ws the runner-up 2 haney 3 years, he made a comeback in the 90s and placed 16th or so at the NOC.. still no one talk shit abt him coz his father is not arab!!..

You are comparing Nasser to men who have won the Olympia; Nasser did not.  Nasser was a very bright star, but it was for a very short time.  Nasser is one of the all time greats, but there are many others from the 90s who outshone Nasser.

Flex Wheeler
Kevin Levrone
Ronnie Coleman
Shawn Ray
Chris Cormier (Im on the fence about including him, but I will anyway)
Dorian Yates

Nasser was able to win the Arnold and place 2nd at the Olympia, but all of these men save Chris Cormier have more impressive resumes.

Your idolatry of Nasser leads me to believe you are a champion of the disillusioned.

we all agree tht nasser's good years were shorter thn these guys but when all were at their best shawn, kevin, &, chris were always behind nasser..

'96,maybe but Shanw looked great that year and Dorian didn't look great but not as bas as in '97.'97could have gone to Shawn or Kevin also. Nasser looked better in '96. Other than that, I don't see when he should have won.
