That would mean, you would have to answer to the one that created you. Your existence would still be limited to that creator. Besides, what if you were a perfect human, what would be your answer then? Just asking, not challenging. 
Even a high tech robot could go beyond his creator. Given enough technology and sophistication, this robot could be stronger, faster, tougher, smarter than its creator. Surpassing its creator in all ways.
This is where all of the sci fi stories come from where robots take over the world because they were made smarter than people.
Whatever "it" is, do you agree "it" took intelligence?
No. Intelligence, as far as we know, is something that evolved much later in the universe.
Intelligence is a result of the laws of physics, not the other way around. That's just how things are.

I guess that is relative, there are a lot of artist, musicians, and the like that would disagree. Those folks are fairly imaginable.
