so you compared Nasser to

The 6 time (atleast) crowned Mr. O [DY]
The 8 time (atleast) crowned Mr. O [RC]
The best bodybuilding record (atleast) in history [KL]

and now you're comparing him to JF?  ::)

Practically everyone here uses Nasser as their yardstick to compare their favourites to, I come in and set the record straight :)

And yes, Nasser can be compared to Dorian and Ronnie.  The judges believe so too, otherwise they would not have gotten call-outs together.

Nasser can ONLY be compared to either in front poses , he's a one dimensional bodybuilder hence why he never won the big one , looks great from the front , good from the sides , weak from the back

He looks unbeatable from the front and the sides, and pretty good from the back, just not as good as the very best.

He deserved to win that show as the pictures prove too.  There were rumours that there would be a diuretics test yet it was not actually done.  However, Nasser mentioned to Mike Matarazzo in passing that he took diuretics.  Most if not all  the competitors in 96 took them too, however Mike ratted out Nasser and he had his prize money taken away for that.

According to you  ;) the judges felt otherwise , history corrects your ignorance.

Stop beating around the bush and pretending you want a pm pic of a oiled up,g-string wearing bb and just ask out ND already :D

PLEASE do not interrupt my mating ritual ever again >:(

Depending on their offseason bodyweights at the time of the photoshoot he may have looked a bit bigger (if he was carrying more bf at the time of the photoshoot than Nasser).  I used the rolley-eye emoticon because you said both bigger and in better shape :)

But he was, at least in my opinion, BB. And I'm not saying that to try and upset you or anything - you know I stopped giving you shit long ago. The reason why I said he's in better shape is because he actually looked pretty good in all of the mandatory poses for such a massive guy. And unlike Nasser, he looked great from the back too. Again, you probably are of the opinion that Nasser looks better overall, so this is pretty much like arguing Dorian vs Ronnie or Dorian vs Nasser - we've both got enough arguments to support our own claims.

I'll give you that Fux couldn't touch Nasser onstage though, cause he (Fux) never came in full and conditioned in those 2 - 3 years he competed in the pro circuit.

The fans felt so too, as shown by the incredibly loud and extended "booo" when he was announced  3rd in 96.

the fans feel what they want to feel, judges make the decisions, the fans also felt that Flex should have won 93
but Dorian dominated with his sheer mass and inhuman conditioning.

I was at the 98 Olympia and Nasser looked like shit from the back. In pics he looks okay but in person his back looked ridiculously soft and one dimensional compared to Ronnie. When he turned around in pre-judging and hit his back poses everyone in the audience was like "nope....still not good enough"

Tell me BigKnobs have you ever seen Nasser compete?

Again this means what? he was popular? do fans judge contests? NO it doesn't matter what the fans think ...the judges count and they made their decisions and you're left with excuses as well as Nasser

That's a given - obviously judges make the decisions.  Does that mean there's no room for discussing placings at all after the judges make their call?   ::)

No there is plenty of room for discussions , but with cries of racism , politics , excuses , etc you can't expect to be taken seriously .

13 individual judges all came to the same conclusion separate of each other , this trumps your opinion in the end .

TRANSLATION: oh shit, Nasser is beating Ronnie in that photo. I know, I'll say the photo is a lie and I was actually there and it was a different story.
Just like the Yates fans do when the photographic evidence shows that Nasser's masterpiece carved in flesh destroys the hideous, macabre creation of the Yates creature ::)

Oh please.  I've gone to shows and then saw pics and it looked like a totally different show in pics.  When Richards Jones won the USA's he dominated but when I saw pics of the show it looked alot closer than being there in person (which I was there).  You can't judge a show from pics.

Poor, naive ND - he thinks that none of the above could happen in such a credible and professional agency such as the IFBB.  ::)

hahaha, the good old, "There's just something about being there in person that makes Nasser look worse than in pictures and Yates or so-and-so better.  I can't explain why or how pictures give a different story but they just do."   Whatever you saw from a far distance for some minutes many years ago is not as credible as close up photographs that were preserved over the past years.

You shouldn't even speak on this matter. You must be the most biased schmoe to lurk there boards. If Nasser doesn't win it all there's always some pathetic excuses from your sorry ass.
I've NEVER heard you say "Nasser got beat fair and square, he was not the best bodybuilder on that day".

Thats what these idiots dont understand in regards to Dorian.
In pics Dorian doesnt look the best but in the flesh he was totaly different.
When you have your fellow competitors jaws drop back stage when you first unzip from your tracks that speaks volumes..

And the judges dont judge contests looking at pics on the internet.

My mate was never a dozer fan till he saw him in the flesh , he came back to NZ and was totaly sold on Dorian.

He went away not being impressed with the Mr O and returned as his Number 1 fan.

His words were "granite rock covered with glad wrap like skin  and that back looked like a ragged clif face with huge amounts of rock popping out everywhere"

He dominated everything he stood next to in the flesh hence why he was an undefeated Mr O.
