The article, posted elswhere by Beach Bum, in a far-less-lengthy-and-more-to-the-point thread, said the key here is religious belief, moreso than level of education.
And, as I said there, there may be a correlation with Catholicism. A Fox News poll I saw some months ago indicated that outside the USA, most professed Christians are Catholic, to the tune of 67%
However, in the USA, that number DROPS to 33%.
Could it be that the Protestant demoninations (and perhaps, the grade schools, high schools, colleges, unversities, hospitals, clinics) run by them play a factor as to why so many Christians DO NOT believe in evolution, regardless of their education level?
