Much like the majority of the Muslim world, the Palestinians and the countries surrounding them have given absolutely nothing to advancing humanity in the last 1500 years, before and after the Jews were back in there. Species are still evolving. There is documented evidence of new species of sea life popping up in certain areas, i.e. certain bacteria that feed on the sulfurous near underwater vents. Evolution isn't something that just pops up out thin air. It happens thousands upon thousand of years.
