To a degree that only applies to Sicily, but that would also include Normans and the French who ruled that island.
On the mainland, to a much lesser degree, the only mixing was with the Germanic barbarians from the north.

i'm not gonna argue that point because i don't know alot about that whole deal

all i know is that people from that area looked totally different than what they do now
however, that can be said about alot of areas in the world
