I believe that match is what really started the ball rolling on HBK's face turn and what made people see that HBK was here to stay. Very good match.

That match had excellent narrative.
For people who dislike Nash (strictly for his ring work), they should watch this match.

Sid also played his part beautifully by filling the rest spots for Nash & Shawn.
Shawn went at it extremely hard - no wonder his body is broken now.

I LOVED the psychology of this match!
A masterpiece.

I liked their IYH streetfight match. That was gold too!

Great match....Shawn was just incredible.  He could have carried me to a 4 star match at that point.

Nash has great timing, but that last jacknife was ugly.

I would have liked to see Sid be more physically involved, but he did give them the chance to catch their breath.

Fav parts were the camera guys.....the way Shawn dragged the first guy away was classic.

Kev's jacknife looked somewhat botched.

Remember back in 1998 in WCW when he dropped The Giant on his head? Mind you, The Giant weighed a ton.

Chef, what did you think about the "one more match" chants?

I think it confirms what I said several months ago:
Shawn isn't done; his ego is too big to go out & stay out.

But, he's earned it.
So, bless him if that's what he wants & his body can still do it.
I just sincerely hope he doesn't keep at it until "something" happens that means he can't.

The Taker/HHH/HBK segment was the best one of the night.  It got a bit "I respect you...", "I respect you too" at the start, but there was a lot of stuff in there that was very close to home, and added a bit of emotion/realism to the match that is often missing these days.

There is a strong possibility of WWE making HBK cost HHH the match at WM thus keeping the streak alive, keeping HHH's dignity of loosing and getting another big match set up for say a Summerslam or so. HBK loosing his career to Taker at last years WM could've been a way to keep HBK off the roster to let his body rest and more importantly heel.

I thought it was great. Heart touching for Timmy. These three guys are just awesome! HBK is one of my favorites but would hate to see him go down the same road Flair did. Showstoppa is gonna be a big part of the streak match no doubt. I believe he's gonna cost Helmsley the victory. I really think he looks like a little old man now and has nothing left to do. But his involvement will help to make this the match of the card. I cannot wait to watch it! I wonder if Diesel is going to be involved as well? At 4:07 I though he was tuning up the band to nail Helmsley. It always makes me laugh that he goes around kicking people in the face. Undertaker stopped him short with that one though. Great great promo for the match. 19-0 RIP.
3 of my favorites right there and a phenomenal promo cut to hype the match. Once those three are out of the picture, the WWE goes in a downward siral. Mark my word.

I heard from friends that wrestle that Michaels was one of the biggest headaches to deal with, most ridiculous ego ever, everyone backstage hates him apparently

That is correct. He is also one of the best talents that ever entered a ring. Not too many people know this but the real reason he is called Mr.Wrestlemania is because he has been virtually in every single Wrestlemania since 1988 when he started in the WWE excluding the 3 year haitus he took to heal his ailing back.

Seriously, I don't know the guy other than what I've heard & read second-hand.
Regardless, not even his detractors deny he gave everything AND MORE in that ring.
Love him or hate him, you've got to respect that.

Absolutely. He had the best matches on the card.
