you are probably right however why do almost all Olympic Female swimmers look like shit ("skinny Fat--odd looking") while Olympic runners just look skinny?...
Pick a distance for running. Sprint runners win, then come swimmers, then distance runners.
I'd bone Stephanie Rice, Aussie swimmer, any day of the week.
interval sprints(I mean "tabata" )are great.
Long distance running breaks you down too much.
