I think that the typical dosage of fish oil (caps or liquid form) or COX inhibitors will not be enough to negate the production of prostaglandins to a detrimental amount. I would rather take an aspirin and lift weights as opposed to having a migraine, not lifting weights and not eating all day. I'd also rather enjoy a huge juicy salmon steak and not worry about the n-3 instead of banging back another shitty chicken breast.
I see what you're saying though, but we need to think of this in a bodybuilding application and with reasonable doses of anti-inflammatory drugs or foods. As long as no one's taking Tom Prince doses of aspirin I think we're ALL in the clear!
