I am actually working on a coalition that will be Farming Republican Babies for the election of 2028.

We will focus on small swing states, with each family in a given state expected to gain profit and political capital by exporting 4 or more Republican children for the election of 2028.

With enough families participating, we expect to hold the majority in key precincts for this election.

You seem to forget that political fortunes can change at the drop of a hat. It was just four years ago that the Democrats were the odd men out, with a GOP House, Senate, and presidency. Yet, I don't recall anyone writing the epitaph for the Democratic party.

If this all this spending doesn't get the economy rolling, as advertised, and Obama can't deliver on his promises, the Dems can just as easily get beat up in 2010 the way that the GOP did in 2006.

Obama was elected for one reason: To fix the economy. If he can't, he could meet the same fate as Jimmy Carter.

Jindal did not deliver very well last night but the message of limited government resonates with many Americans. Already there is backlash to the excessive spending programs and expanding government of Obama and Pelosi. The amount of spending that has already occured is incredible and there is much more spending to come with the initiatives announced in the past week.

This country has been moving in a big gov direction for quite a few years. Obama is taking that to the next level. The policies of Bush 2 and Obama are both bad for the country.

Adonis, you are a socialist and I fundamentally disagree with you as socialism has never worked and is absolutely opposed to the foundation of this country. I also do not trust politicians. As a socialist, you trust big gov and politicians. However, I respect your philosophical debate. See, there are smart people who advocate many different types of economic and political systems. Thats why when someone says "she's a liberal so she is stupid" or "how could any intelligent person be a conservative" it makes no sense.

Jindal is a really smart guy, a former Rhodes scholar and by nearly all accounts is the best gov Louisianna has seen in a very long time. He has come across much better in live interviews and debates. Last night looked too scripted and he was not comfortable.
