I've had nothin deleted...I just wanna understand the "mod rights" a little better.  Basically, what can a mod do/see that a regular member can't?

Nope. Mods here in Getbig can lock threads (so no one but mods can post in that thread), delete threads, merge threads and split threads. And mods of some boards can move threads to another board.
