I see my post received no responce. What I posted is based on the numbers and not a political attack. The is little doubt wall st has reacted to Obama since the election in Nov and the severe banking troubles. Those are the two variables that are mostly driving this market.

"The market reacted to Citibank and Bernanke giving a speach this AM. Still, we are down 2500 points since Obama won the election. The Dow is down 32 percent since his election on Nov. 4, 2008 and 18 percent since his inauguration (based on #s 3/9/09). His policies are clearly not friendly to business and he is spending us into uncharted levels of national debt. When we come out of this recession, we'll have massive debt to pay back and potential inflation and devaluation of the currency. I also blame Bush for unsupervised TARP 1 funds.

You look at the market daily for quick reactions and monthly to see trends. Obama has only been president for approx 7 weeks but he has been very active in Washington since November, when he was elected. Markets make predictions and they predicted an unfriendly environment to business once he was elected. From 9625 on Nov 4th to below 6900."

The basic point is that if you favor big gov, more gov jobs, are ok with less small business, more gov control of your money and more government intervention into the private sectors then you will like what is happening under Obama/Pelosi. If you favor limited gov, expanded personal freedoms, and lower overall taxes, you won't like the direction this administration is taking us. This is the basic philosophy and it comes down to a fundamental disagreement, no one is necessarily entirely right.
