actually liked him when he was on CNN or whatever channel he was on before fox hmmm i kinda am a little turned off by how much more alarmist he has become he does make good points but they get lost when he runs with the idea into some far reaching scenarios.

When Ron Paul started running he was calling him a whacko and a kook and calling him a conspiracy theorist. Now he can't get enough of Ron Paul and Peter Schiff. He's full of shit in my opinion and I can't stand his ass. He just an alarmist and disinfo agent like MB said in my opinion. But I'm sure MB thinks the same thing about Alex Jones

He is twofaced, that is for sure and he vascilates a lot...some of the stuff he has been doing recently is ok but it borders on silliness the way he exagerates.

LOL I'll give you he sounds like a dumbass sometimes with his childish voices and obnoxious attitude. BUT.......just about everything he says can be backed up by facts and a little research of one's own. Don't shoot the messenger. There are certain subjects he shys away from for whatever reason and he is a Christian but most everything he does talk about is true or coming to fruition. That's all that matters to me. Who else is going to give you the truth and the other side of things? There are only a handful of people and none of them are as popular or talk about the stuff that Jones talks about. He has Congressman, senators, on all the time as well.

I like Glenn (with two n's). I haven't listened to him lately because of all the doom and gloom he's been prophesying--not because I don't believe he's right, but just because I can only stand to hear so much doom & gloom. I do believe he's right on the money most of the time.

Glenn, like Mitt Romney (and Harry Reid too, but I'd like to forget Harry exists), is Mormon. Glenn converted to Mormonism some time after hitting bottom in his life due to alcoholism and coming back from the brink of suicide. I believe Glenn offers a unique perspective because of where he's been and what he's experienced in his life. He's seen many issues from both sides and speaks with the voice of wisdom and experience.

OMG what a load of bullshit if I ever heard any! Glenn Beck speaks wisdom because he's an ex alcoholic and Mormon? If anything that makes him an even bigger moron. He's a college drop out! . His opinion changes as much as New York weather. Where has he been that makes him so insightful? The bottom of a bottle?

Those are all pretty empty arguments you make. I don't care whether or not he's ex-alcoholic or Mormon, that doesn't make a difference and I said nothing to imply that his wisdom and smarts were because of those things. But the fact that he did work his way up from the bottom to where he is now, gives him some credibility IMO.

And I don't give a shit whether or not he graduated from college. Lots of college professors with multiple PhD's are complete idiots without a lick of common sense. That too is an empty argument. But Glenn does speak with common sense, which is all too uncommon these days.

1. He really believes Joseph Smith (the child molester) was a prophet of god
If true, we know the man is an idiot that will believe anything and is not capable of critical thinking and a slave to the ego.

2. He uses the Mormon church and Religion as a tool to further himself through life.
If true, then he is a calculated fraud that uses the Mormon church for protection and business - Just like Mitt Romney.

I like Glenn sometime but when he starts talking religion I have to change the station. I am a conservative atheist and I dont believe that the conservative people should be about religion at all. ( I know that sounds like an oxymoron) so if he is not talking religion I listen. which is rare these days

In general I like Glenn. I agree with him about 85% of the time, and I always like a guy who can be funny without resorting to profanity or sexually laced remarks. But I do find his occasional alarmism disturbing. I have always associated alarmisn with liberalism and so I find it troubling when a conservative engages in it. And sometimes the guy can be such a dam drama queen. Did you guys see that YOUTUBE video he made of himself after he had the butt surgery? He was saying things like "You guys will never believe what I went through. The medical establishment needs to be completely reformed. The doctors dont care about anybody. I have been having images that are worse than the movie SAW!!!" And I thought to myself, "Glenn, what did they do to you?

Did they turn your butt hole inside out or something?
