zero carb diet resulting in 22 pounds lost in 1 month?

What do you think about this? Its a conversation i heard between 2 girls, one recommending the other one to do it because she just lost 22 pounds.

most people lose about 10-15 lbs of water during the first week or two.

sure, how about the next 2 weeks? i cant really believe you can lose more than 5 lbs in the next week unless you are into a sport or something

i agree... that much weight loss probably wont be possible unless its also losing alot of muscle mass

The first week it is a big loss of water and glycogen.  The preceeding weeks you will lose a good amount of weight but it depends on who you are and how hard you workout.

the girl i saw commenting about this is a big fatty lol, no muscle for sure!

The first week it is a big loss of water and glycogen.  The preceeding weeks you will lose a good amount of weight but it depends on who you are and how hard you workout. 

i see this girl doing a pretty relaxed workout, not really intensive, and using the upstairs machine? or whatever is called

i seriously dont notice the 22 pounds she claimed she has lost lol

Yeah benz 22lbs off of a fat person from a ketogenic diet will not be too noticeable.

well not really fat like the women u see in america, but still, i think she's wrong and she has lost nothing but 18 pounds of water and maybe 4 of fat

Women need to stop focusing on weight,  They should focus on body fat %. 22 lbs most likely came off in the forms of water, and muscle.  She lost a few ounces of fat if she is lucky

Training pretty hard I can lose more than 20 per month, eating 100-200gr of protein per day and raw vegetables. NOTHING ELSE (Multivitamin-mineral, calcium etc...just pills haha)

A woman can burn maybe 2000kcal per day, and 1kg of fat is 9000kcal. 4-5 days to burn one kg of pure fat, so 6 per month and of course u lose some water with it (20% of fat storage is water). Water on glycogen of course is faster weight lose, but it's around 1.5kg, not more. It's possible, but HARD HARD diet.
So, 6+1.5+2.4 (20%of 6)= 9.9kg. Hard but possible. But, not only no carbs, no fats aswell I think. No calories, just protein (and not tons)

No no it's not possible, that would be a hidratation disaster. She is, as all of as, around 70% water, u can't change it so much. If u lose weight, u lose fat, or muscle and then the proportional water. Also with glycogen (rate 2.7gr water per one "carb")

Perfect, %body fat is the key I think so.
