I only see one piece of pepperoni. I am assuming the toppings are hidden under the cheese? Needs Italian sausage too. Looks pretty good though.

i agree man, it's a Chicago style pizza, usually they put the cheese on first and then the sauce, thick as hell too.

I have a Chicago style place by me. Not nearly as good as the real deal obviously, but the fkn box weighs about 12 pounds. I went and picked one up a few weeks ago for some friends(4 of us) and they gave me shit about only getting one large. So I dared any of them to eat two slices, one guy almost did. I can barely eat one, they are filling as hell.

What were your ingredients?  What did you do?  Maybe some of us can help.

I bought two pounds of meat, not sure what kind, nothing special though, the 4.99$ a pound stuff. Chopped them up real into real small pieces. Then I put them in the pan with some non stick cooking spray(maybe I should have used olive oil?), cooked them slowly, drained the fat and added fajita mix and let it cook slowly for a half hour more or so, I also added a bit of water. I did the same with a green pepper and an onion and they turned out fine. I also bought sour cream and lettuce cuz I thought I was cooking for two but a situation arose so I ate alone, and I don't eat that stuff. They turned out too fajita tasting if that makes sense. Tender and moist, but too tangy :(  Btw, it was the first time I cooked in ten years, no lie. I get Outback takeout about 5 nights a week and dine out the rest with an occasional BK tendergrill sandwich thrown in the mix. So I was not too disappointed, I just need some more practice is all.

So, what did I do wrong if you don't mind telling me :)

 ???

Not quite sure, but maybe the meat was cut up too small (kinda sounds that way) and cooked for too long .  Those 2 things combined could've "infused" too much flavor.  Did you use something like a McCormick fajita mix package?

This thread has inspired me to make a pizza tonight.  I hope I don't end up with a soggy crust since I have a ton of toppings I plan on using.

I used the Taco Bell fajita mix. Should have used a taco mix I think, maybe Ortega.
