Bob Chic just broke it down on PBW...

Michalis Kefalianos won the french night of champions - a PDI event.

He did the Arnold Amateur last week.
He didn't even win his CLASS at the Arnold Amateur.

He decided to turn pro this week.

He competed as a Pro on the Aussie Pro stage.
He got 4th - and since the top 3 were already qualified (kai, Silvio, Toney).

So a guy who won a PDI (Pro Division Inc via Wayne Demilia) show will be standing on the Olympia stage this year.

The IFBB Greek officials want to know how this Amateur got his Gift Pro card???What Pro Qualifier did he WIN???Just think if Little Stevie Namat went out to Australia he would Now have a place on the Big Boys Mr Olympia stage.I Don't like Namat but he would have beaten this Amateur.

again, it's none of their business. the IFBB Pro League is a separate for profit business than the various amateur IFBB orgs. Manion doesn't report to Santonja, nor the other way around.

1) courtesy, 2) wining a pro qualifier only allows you to apply, 3) there is nothing written down that says that's the only way to be given a pro card

Good for him. Looks like no one really wanted that Olympia spot anyway so he went to Australia and got it.

Manion or Chang should just invite him because having him on stage would see tickets, and he would be competitive. Banning him is not good business sense.
