you should have improvised with different equipment.
my gym closes at 8 on the weekends and sometimes i walk in there at 7:15. I am in a mad rush and am pushing weight after they shut the lights out. the people that work there are cool, so they dont get too annoyed. rushing and taking such little time between sets can make for a very good workout, and its fun to be against the clock, especially during an easy workout such as chest, shoulders, or arms.
