Brett Farve made the pro bowl last year.....Cutler is a very good QB and it has nothing to do with being the pro bowl. In 2007 8 Patriots went to the pro-bowl, in 2009 2 went. Did the players who went in 2007 all the sudden start to suck? The pro-bowl has just as much to do with popularity as it does stats. Why don't you put any stock in Cutlers record?

but cutler is not popular, he put up numbers deserving of the pro bowl

the broncos as a team suck, it takes more than just a qb to win

the way big ben played last season, the steelers wouldn't have made the playoffs without the dominant defense

i think cutlers a good qb that being said it seems like drama finds this kid, the rivers situation and then this in all honesty he is a professional and is getting paid good money to play so i think he needs to stfu and play regardless of whether they are shopping him around or not. I think he would do good here in Houston the fans are pretty loyal as David(worst first pick) carr will tell you but i dont want to hear him whining about this or that stfu and do you job.

The Broncos didn't suck when Cutler came there. Mike Shanahan is one of the best coaches of all time. Cassel had numbers that where just as good as Cutlers and his team won. All I'm saying is that I can see why Mc D would try to bring in Cassel. He knows the kid and he knows that he can do well in his system from day one.

cassel had much better players around him offensively and defensively

i do see why mcdaniels would want cassel, but i also understand why cutler would want a trade

I thought my Lions were in the race for Cutler and why would the Texans wanna get rid of Schaub. I thought Matt and Andre Johnson were looking pretty good along with Steve Slatton in the backfield. I swear that my Lions have to be the worse franchise in all of sports. I do not even think that the owner even cares about the team or even the fans.

McDaniel's needs a QB. What are the Jets going to give him? This one sounds less likely than your first one, but god that would suck. The AFC east would be unreal. It is already tough as hell.

Thats my point.....The only way Mc D lets Cutler go is if he scores tons of draft picks. Matbe St Louie could offer Bulger and 10 million picks, but I doubt it happens.

Was watching NFL live on ESPN and Trent Dilfer made a good suggestion.

He suggested that Detroit trade for Cutler, trade down the #1 pick for a left tackle, and get an additional first rounder. By doing so you build the base of your offense from the ground up and now you have a QB with a gun-slinger mentality to throw to Calvin Johnson. Detroits offensive scheme would suit Cutler perfectly.

Dilfer is obviously an offense-minded guy. But Detroit needs to build through the draft on defense also.
