nah, the economy is huge news. on a quiet news day, this one would be a major problem. We have the AIG bailouts and pelosi just got the repubs in the house to actually support a 90% tax on CEO earnings - way big socialist move, and they just approved it -

besides, this is a joke that a lot of people could make. President just can't make it. Anyone who spend their friday focusing on this- and not the economy - can be criticized for wasting taxpayer dollars.

Tell me - anyone - do you want your senator to spend tomorrow acting offended and doing interviews with TODAY show about how offended they are on behalf of special olympics... or do you want him to roll up his sleeves and go fix the economy bill?

Ok the morning new stations are running it, but they mention it for like 2 seconds and then show the White House apology about the comment Obama said on Leno and thats it. So far they're not making a big deal about, will see how fox news does later today.
