James, I've been painting for a while too. I sold one about 2yrs ago. I wasn't trying to but someone forced my hand to show at their gallery. I named the piece "Liquid Soul"; a close up of a young woman drinking at a party who seemed to have fun at first sight but looking closely you realize she's shedding a tear and inside the tear and thru the bottle distortion, a gloom reflexion of her inner pain cause by her drinking and inner demons. I wish I had kept it. A lesbo couple bought it. I blew the money on gh and nubain.
