Ha ha ha. So true! Another "trick" used by the marketing machine of this industry: photograph the short guys next to each other (like JJ and Branch, or Branch and Jay Moore), keep them in the same shot, or photograph them by themselves. That way, they all look the same size and there's no frame of reference to tell how short they are.
Put Branch next to Noah Steere or Scot Milne; who would any guy or gal go for? It's no contest.
Best thing is: Put a pro next to a normal person!
I am really sorry for saying this, but when i see a bb midget standing next to a normal guy that works out a bit, the scene screams "inferiority complex!!!" or "one has to overcompensate".
I saw Dexter Jackson at the FIBO, the guy was dwarfed by the fitness chicks, nearly all the visitors of the Expo where taller than him, it just looked ridiculous seeing this small man with giant arms in the crowd of fans.
