The starvation diet
« on: April 15, 2009, 03:51:55 PM »
So as many of you know I have been dieting for the past month and have dropped about 6-8 pounds. I am technically about half a month ahead of where I was last year, but I have grown bored with the slow progress. So I have decided to drastically cut my calories. I eat pretty much entirely protein and still lift weights and am doing my best to keep as much muscle as I can. My calories the last couple days has been around 1000 calories. So far so good. I am keeping some energy through caffeine pills and the weight is dropping off.

Anyone else try this type of shit?

Have been tempted; this .5 kilos a week thing, though always suggested is fucking slow. I will see how I look by the end of the month.

Yeah i'm going balls to the wall till the end of the month and see how i look. bascially I just want to get down to where I would look better than 95% of people at the pool and then i'll be happy slowly working my way to looking better than 99% of them.  ;D

A few years ago i went from 215 of fat down to 175 and quite good shape in only a little over a month by going hard. The key is finding a way not to drink on the weekends.

I never drink, eat a diet of only green vegetables, nuts, fish and meat and protein shakes and it still just goes so slowly. I am so fat, you'd think at least at these levels it would go quickly. If I had the money and the time I would get my body checked. Something ain't right.

the fat will come off but in a few weeks, the progress will stop completely and you won't be able to cut anymore food

you will have to do cardio

if you are not natural, there are always a few things you can do.

-up the clen
-up the t3
-up the cardio
-drop food (you can't do that as you already eat very little amounts of food)

Yeah i've been doing slight cardio now and plan on upping it. I'm natural and am not looking to get in contest shape or anything, just a nice six pack for the summer and the ability to join the lean face club  :D

if you are over 20% and you really eat how you say you do, you should get yourself checked !

Well, I have only been eating like that for a little over a week. Maybe I need to go for months and months to get results? ???

Your diet seems really good. How long have you been on it and how much have you lost.

Well, now I have been consistent with that kind of intake for over a week now and I have only dropped a pound or so. Started doing cardio too. I think I am a genetic freak in the sense that my body hates dropping fat. I will just try to continue for another week and make adjustments if my body composition doesn't change. :-\

lol of course, you won't see shit in a week.

if you are over 20%, you will need 3-4 months to see your abs well

You just got to roll with the genetics. I got screwed in that I carry a lot of weight in the spare time/muffin top area. It is really hard for me to get lower abs.

See your problem is that you're thinking in kilos. If you would think in pounds, it would be much much easier on your mind. ;D

Christ you are the most impatient person on here.

Set yourself out a 12-16 week plan. 1 week and you have only dropped a pound  ::)
Go to http://www.parrillo.com/publications.asp and start reading about how to diet properly. Stick on a diet for at least 3 months and then see if you are a "genetic freak"
