But are they perhaps greater men for never having to work a day in their lives and making tens of millions doing something they love? A paradox for you Depussey (52 IQ).

Bill Gates never worked a day in his life. He only did what he loved :D

No doubt LeBron is a hero around here.  He does a lot of great things in the area outside of basketball too.  Cavs are going to the finals.

But I hear ya on the kids thing.  Having kids out of wedlock is way too common these days, its bad for society and bad for the kids.

Kevin was kicked out of Greenville, S.C. The story is that he and three other black guys beat the shit out of some white guy! Kevin then went to a prep school in Chicago, Illinois. K.G. now gives away Adidas shoes and equipment at Mauldin High for his yearly Basketball Tournament.

No.

Adidas gives the shoes away.

Another thing...such as the United Way.

See how all these NFL stars go and visit sick UW kids in hospitals and whatbnot?

What you are not told is that they must do this due to the CONTRACT the NFL has with UW.

Also, these bros and their 'foundations'....you know why? Tax write offs.

Foundations my ass!

Yeah her and the numerous chicks he bangs on the road.  Everybody knows NBA players are the most unfaithful bunch.  Especially Lebron with the big head he has.  Just hope a "Kobe Bryant" doesn't happen to him for his sake.

it likely does...weekly

you just don't hear about it

Cleveland's going to win the east anyway. Celtics can take their place in mediocrity alongside the current Red Sox and Pats teams.

You don't know much about sports bro do you?

you will never see Tim Duncan acting like a monkey who just stole a banana from a weaker monkey, no matter how much he wins.

Great example of why I haven't watched an entire NBA game in over 10 years....ghetto garbage.

Kevin Garnett is actually a pretty nice guy. What's wrong with being pumped after a win like that?  ::)

I thought he was a nice guy too till the finals win when he showed his true colors.  Ghetto.  I bet if Brandon Roy ever wins a championship he will conduct himself as a proper classy gentleman as always.

Kobe Bryant and Lebron always immitate Jordan.  They're both obviously great basketball players, but their gestures, the way they act when they score (even Lebron's number), the throwing the chalk up thing is just a spin on Jordan's chalk move....they need to be more original.

The way Kevin acted after the finals, I can honestly say I have never even come close to that.  I bet there are a lot of NBA players who would not act like that too.  B Roy, Chris Paul, Gasol, Dirk, Daron Williams etc...  I'm not saying Garnett isn't talented but I like my favorite NBA players to show class on AND off the court.  But you can't blame me because I had to grow up with the "jail Blazer" era.  :(

I'm not sure you know what you're talking about?  What exactly did he say that was so classless?  Quote him.

Just youtube the video.  Don't you remember how he acted after the finals?  It was just last year.  There was a big thread here titled something like "the key to win the NBA finals is to black it up" or something like that.  Look at that.

I was at the finals; I know what happened.  I've seen the Youtube video too.  I don't see how he acted without class.  He wasn't talking any trash or anything; just overcome with emotion.  Garnett has all the money he could ever want, so this analogy is not appropriate, but imagine you just won a lottery for 100,000,000.  What would you do? This black, ghetto, no class stuff is BS.  KG is about as upright a human being as you can get.  He's a natural leader; the whole team looks up to him like a father. His on court trash talking (during the game, not in celebration) is designed specifically to get in the heads of his opponents and it works pretty well and the tactic goes back to the days of Bird and Magic.  Just because he doesn't sound "white" like Ray Allen doesn't mean he's not a professional (in the true sense of the word).

KG is an awesome player and you have to admire his drive.

However, he uses lots of blasphemy (even on camera) after games.  He likes to win.

Relax man it's just my opinion.  I'm entitled to mine and you to yours.  I'm not saying KG is a bad dude, I just didn't care for his celebration at the end of the finals, and a lot of other people didn't either.  I'm not gonna question anyone's blackness, and I don't think that just because a black man conducts himself properly he should be compared to a white man.  Ray Allen is just Ray Allen, who cares what he sounds like?  Personally I like the class acts like Brandon Roy and Chris Paul.  And I would be happy if I won the lottery, but I would not celebrate nearly to the extent KG did, but thats just my personality.

If people were critical of his in-game antics, I could atleast respect their opinion.  I still don't see what the issue is with the youtube video of him and Michelle Tafoya.  Someone enlighten me.

The guy swears a lot and gets all fired up.  He's not a bad person, not even close.  Really, there are much worse things going on in the NBA than a few F bombs.

KG is so overrated its not even funny.

like i said, you wont find Tim Duncan, or even Lebron james, behaving like monkeys after every big play, no matter how much they win.
