FYI, a knacker is a very derogatory term for a traveler, a lot of them have settled down and have houses and don't life in caravans anymore.
however due to their lack of education a lot of them have a very poor chance of getting jobs and seem to be on the very low end of society.

The following example is recorded in Athlone but I could show you a 100 of examples I see on a daily basis.

I spent a year in Central Dublin in 2007. I have Irish heritage and qualified for an Irish passport, so I wanted to see where I came from. but by the end of the year I hated 90% of Irish people and wanted to burn any evidence of me being Irish.

A poster here on getbig (only has like 10 posts) lives right near Hans and he decided to share some info with me which i can use if Hans ever decides to return to the boards.....
